Sarah became aware of the deeply therapeutic healing potential of massage while confronted with her own emotional and spiritual challenges as a teen and young adult. She is passionate about the connection between the mind and body and how stress, both physical and emotional, can manifest in the body. She combines what she has learned through her clinical training at Sage School of Massage in Bend, OR and other treatment based courses. Using her intuition, she feels in and connects with each client, listening to their concerns, observing visually, and allowing her client's body to communicate what would be therapeutic. Massage is a meditation for her. It's about being present and working with restriction to create more flow.
Sarah values both self-care and care for others and strives to balance the two. On her days off she is mostly outdoors, as nature is healing for her. Her days are spent hiking, snowboarding, general exploring and outdoor adventure balanced with meditation, reading, and just being.
